Lake was born in St. Thomas and relocated to Florida in 1995. He has a 12-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son. In his spare time, Lake likes to go fishing, boating, fly drones, and attend classic muscle car shows. He is also a member of the Dali Museum, follows the Chicago Bulls, and loves sushi.

He has 20 years of trade experience which includes 6 years of HVAC.
